MN Latinos in Higher Education

Hi folks-here is the agenda for the board meeting.  It's pasted it into the space below or you can click  on the little wording below that says Attachment to print it out.

Hi all-

The next Board meeting will be at Metro State in the Library, room 321. Full board from 11-1 pm and Executive Committee from 10-11. As usual, we will be having the option for phone and web conferencing for those not attending in person.

As we agreed upon at our April meeting, we will have a meeting in June, not have one in July, and then return in August. Those working on membership, communication and the conference /summit will be continuing work throughout the summer and are looking for support from all board members.

Hi all-

The next board meeting will be at the University of MN Duluth campus in the Kirby Student Center. Exec. Committee from 9-10 and full board from 11-1.

We will also be going to dinner on Friday night. Hope you can joing us. See the calendar listing for full information (name of restaurant and room number for the meeting.)

Hi all-

Here are the minutes  from our recent Steering Committee meeting here in Coffman--assumedly the last one before the conference.  Yikes! 

 Take a look at them, read them over, call if you have any questions and more than anything, please check in with your committee chairs to make sure that we get everything done!  I will be using this site for updates and planning instead of e-mail so please check it regularly.

We are talking about changing  Network to Associationin the name so that we would be:

the MN Association of Latinos in Higher Education.  We will not have to change our website or e-mails with this change.  What do folks think?

Hi all-

This is definitely not comprehensive, but  it's a start.  We went through the websites of various colleges and universities to see who had published what.  If you are interested in posting your work, please do so as a separate entry, and/or you can e-mail the info to info@MNLatinosinhighered.org and we will add it to this list.

Hi all-

We know this is not comprehensive list of all Latinos who have published in MN, but it is a start. We went through various institutions' websites and found Latinos who had published in Minnesota. If you have a publication and it's not listed, please submit it and we will grow the data base so we can know who is doing what in the state and increase each of our own's work and visibility as well.  You may submit your work as it's own entry on the blog and/or e-mail the information to me and I'll add it to the exel document.    Lisa@mnlatinosinhighered.org
