MN Latinos in Higher Education

We are pleased report the success of our 2nd Educational Summit held October 10th and 11th at Hamline University.  Staff, faculty, administrators and students from MN and a group from South Dakota convened to network, attend workshops, vote on organizational priorities and elect new board members. What an exciting time!  We heard from our elected officials in the House and Senate about the state of affairs for higher education and began plans for regional work and a statewide agenda.  Finally, Dr. Michael Rodriguez presented a Tool Kit for creating a Latino-Supportive Campus.  Stay tuned for more information and  how to use this toolkit.
