Datatel Scholars Foundation Scholarship

Applicants must write an essay that summarizes his/her educational goals and objectives, and indicate the difference that a Datatel Scholars Foundation Scholarship would make in his/her life.

Centro Campesino's Youth Organizing Scholarship Fund
Submitted by Anonymous on Mon, 12/17/2007 - 3:56pm.Centro Campesino, a grass-roots non-profit organization is opening its second cycle of scholarships for Latino youth in Minnesota. This past summer, their scholarship program, headed by youth organizers from rural Minnesota, awarded six $1,000 scholarships to outstanding youth with plans of attending higher education institutions. The Youth Organizing Scholarship Fund will again be awarding scholarships to Latino high school seniors or current college students to help in their pursuit of a higher education.

Jack Kent Cooke Graduate Scholarship

These nationally competitive scholarships provide up to $50,000 per year for up to 6 years of graduate or professional school. Approximately 40 scholarships will be awarded nationwide in 2008. Candidates must be nominated by their undergraduate institution to be eligible; the U may nominate up to 2 candidates.
Beinecke Scholarship

The U of M is among a group of select institutions that may nominate students for these prestigious national scholarships, which provide up to $34,000 for graduate study.
Latina/ Mabelline Scholarship
