The University of St. Thomas, a Catholic urban university with a strong liberal arts tradition, invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position in Moral Theology.

The teaching load of three courses per semester involves some combination of the following: a first-level course, The Christian Theological Tradition (historically structured and centered on select primary texts); a second-level course, Christian Morality; and third-level theologically-based interdisciplinary courses. Applicants should have extensive knowledge of the Catholic tradition, be able to engage issues of Catholic moral theology, be interested in interdisciplinary teaching and learning, and be committed both to excellence in undergraduate teaching and ongoing research in their field.

Requirements: Doctorate preferred, ABD with a close completion date will be considered, some teaching experience.

  The Biology Department at the University of St. Thomas (http://www.stthomas.edu/biol/) invites applications for a Tenure-Track position at the Assistant Professor level in Neurobiology, to start September 2009.

  The University of St. Thomas, Department of Psychology is seeking a candidate for a tenure track position in Behavioral or Cognitive Neuroscience at the rank of Assistant Professor beginning in the Fall of 2009. Current teaching responsibilities of this position include (a) General Psychology, (b) Research Methods, (c) Brain and Human Behavior, (d) Alcohol, Other Drugs, and Behavior, along with (e) upper-level courses in the candidate's area of expertise.

 The University of St. Thomas, St. Paul, MN is seeking applications for a full-time Spanish clinical faculty member and director of the Modern and Classical Languages multimedia language learning center. Ph.D. preferred (ABD or M.A. plus minimum three years of experience in language education technology considered). Language and culture pedagogy training that focuses on technology assisted language learning is a plus.  The faculty member will initially teach three Spanish courses per academic year and assist with the redesign of the lab environment. Other duties include supervising department language tutors and administering electronic placement exams.

  The Department of Modern and Classical Languages at the University of St. Thomas, St. Paul, MN is seeking applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Spanish. PhD. preferred (ABD considered) with specialization in the literatures, cultures and civilizations of South America. Native or near-native fluency in Spanish is required. 3/3 teaching load. Salary commensurate with qualifications.

The Department of Modern and Classical Languages at the University of St. Thomas, St. Paul, MN is seeking applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Spanish. Ph.D. preferred (ABD considered) with a specialization in second language acquisition/pedagogy and native or near-native fluency in Spanish, previous experience coordinating lower division language courses a plus. Chosen applicant will coordinate the introductory and intermediate Spanish language programs at the university, and while coordinating the normal teaching load of three courses per semester will be reduced to two per semester through course releases.

 The University of St. Thomas Food Service Department is accepting applications for a 9 month Line Server.
Responsibilities include serve food to our students, faculty and staff; retrieving food supplies from storage locations; preparation of food for the meal periods; following recipes; setting up space to serve; maintain clean work station and clean equipment; assist in other areas as needed.
